Membership Information

Thank you for your interest in the Georgetown Recreation Club! We would love for you and your family to join us at the club this year.

Initiation Fees: There is a one-time, non-refundable Initiation Fee for our new members of $600.

We offer:

• $300 discount for applications postmarked prior to April 1;
• $200 discount prior to May 1;
  
• $100 discount prior to May 15;
  
• $300 new neighbor discount within 60 days of moving in. Valid all year. new neighbors may pay in two installments--half with application, half 30 days later;
• $50 referral bonus for new members.

For all applications postmarked after May 15, 2012, the full initiation fee is required.

An alternative to the above fees is; in each of the three categories, membership can be established without the entire initiation fee by paying an annual premium of $160 on the Family, Couples or Single membership categories. Any time during the next four years, the membership may be converted to a standard membership by paying the remaining balance of the $600 initiation fee. In year five, the membership will be considered initiated and the membership dues will no longer reflect the non-initiation surcharge. Non current or future discounts will be applied to the initiation fee. A $10 extended payment plan fee will be applied each year.

Membership Fees:

•  Family: $500/year- Family membership extends to all people who consider the address below their primary residence.
  

•  Couples: $400/year--Couples membership is for any household of two people, regardless of their relationship to each other.
  

•  Single: $300/year--Singles membership is for one person only.

2011 dues may be paid in two installments, with the first half due April 1 and the second half due May 1. The first dues payment for families registering as members for the swim team are due before swim team registration, which is on March 26th.
